Moderation is not about "who bans the most people", also known as the "who's got the biggest dick" competition for idiots stuck at the age level of about 12-14 years. It's about being strict but also righteous and sometimes even forgiving; that doesn't include banning people on sight,
without any reason. Therefore, just as many people are banned as many idiots visit this forum, making the mistake of posting before reading the rules, also known as the "doing before thinking" problem. And that number fluctuates.
Also, you don't take into account that the moderators are from very different places on the planet: Warlock is American, Grumpy is Australian, Luciel is Spanissh, I'm Hungarian; that's three very different time zones so we're living and moderating the forum in three, quasi-disjunct periods of time. While idiots are pouring in all the time, every minute, that is.
