There a lot of games that says that need Hardware T&L or DX 9.0 c compliant card to run and lots on cards that don't have this requieremnts and run fine on them
POP 3 and Dragonshard run fine on my crappy geforce 4 mx and i don't even have pixel shaders when the boxes of the games states that
