Just because it works for one person running just DT with no disconnected drives doesn't mean it works for another. It depends on IDE controllers, SATA drives (all, none or mixed) and more factors.

Long time since I tested with starforce now (never buy any games with that anymore) but back then I had to disconnect atleast.
