In most backup iso files, the IP.BIN has not been added to the data contents of the file. It is instead in the boot record of the disc.

Occasionally you'll find some games that the IP.BIN was left in the root directory of the disc, even though it's a self-boot disc. This is the exception rather than the norm. When you follow the Echelon instructions on creating a bootable disc, it specifically tells you to *NOT* copy the IP.BIN back to the directory you're using to create the disc. It's only injected into the boot sector of the image just before it's burned to the disc.
