Just use the windows XP file system compression ( compress only the images not the whole partition ) and the image goes to a just megabyte or 2 and it is working perfectly.To compress file in windows XP just right click on it select Properties -> Advanced and put a mark on the option compress to save disk space.Remember that you must use NTFS file system for this partition for this to work.
