The method posted by schlaufer above does work as it did with KOTOR 1 but they have changed the setup for KOTOR2. Now you don't need to change the autorun.inf file but you get a disc prompt at the end of the setup. There is no way I've found to disable it as it's part of the setup. There may be a way to disable the disk prompt using a hex editor and changing the setup.inx file. I didn't waste too much time on it. I just changed the text on the disk prompt dialog to say "Setup is complete, click OK to finish". This can be done by extracting the StringTable-0009-English.ips file from the setup cabs, editing it, then repacking it. The text to edit is on line 56, just look for the text you want to change. For a cracked setup, just replace the swkotor2.exe on the root of the disc with the cracked file. You should always save a backup of the original file somewhere.
