No, you are totally wrong. With "
DAEMON Tools 4" (
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/) and an IMAGE-file with DPM measurement you can play "StarForce 3" protected games in a Virtual Drive!
The only thing is, that you still have to disable / unplug you IDE drives at the moment! In a new version oft DT4 that will come in the future this will not be necessery anymore!
By the way, meanwhile there are even NO-CD/-DVD cracks for some "StarForce 3" protected games, like "Codename Panzers (phase one + two)", "Brothers in Arms - EiB", the first "Trackmania", "TOCA/DTM Race Driver 2", "Singles (part 1 + 2)", "Obscure" etc.
