Thanks Grumpy...I will try that, I know I didn't pay full price for it...(Lucky me...LOL), but I didn't know if I could copy the disk or not with the scratches, I will try the tooth paste or car polish....I have another question now, why do they not say "You are only buy a license to play" on the box, it is very misleading to purchase a game, only to find out once you open it that it is not actually yours. I may be missing the point here, but if I pay for the item, that particular copy should by all rights be mine to do with as I please, unless otherwise stated on the box at the time of purchase. Because once you get the game home and go to install it and realize that the EULA has a clause that you don't really own the game, but a license there of, is completely false advertisement. That portion of the contract should be on the box, simple as that. That was gamers have a real option to purchase or not to purchase. Sorry about my rant, I just don't understand EULA's that want you to purchase a new game if for say, your disc breaks, you should have the express right to copy that game, so not to damage the original.
I am done ranting....thanks for the advice on the scratches though
