Ok, if its a registry modifying program then, nothing special...

As for the thing where publishers are breaking the law, they can do whatever they want. They have the money. If you wanna sue them, go ahead. Howeer, they can sue you, if your either guilty or not guilty IF THEY WANT TOO. So dont give them a reason to want to do that.

Im here on this forum to help, like you

And anything can hold up in court if they have the money on their side.

Quote:

just them blacklisting legit software is a crime itself, I can't wait untill daemon tools becomes commercial ware i wonder if the protection companys would even touch it
You'll be surprised, thats what I think. The protection companies can do what they want, because there is no one opposing them. And like I said, they have the money, and the backing of publishers, who have even more money.

And as for the MS things, where it blacklists Firefox, I think they can do that, they just have to say in the EULA:

By using this OS you agree not to install any mozilla products... bla bla bla

And they can get away with it. I think

Point is, they can do what they want. May your intentions be legal or illegal, all they have to do is make up a ton of BS and you're screwed.

But look on the bright side, the only people they really sue are the guys making the cracks, not people like us.
