Since Daemon V4 came out this morning I have tried to run a couple of games Starforce 3(Ricky Ponting Cricket) and Securom 7(Evil Dead) and neither has worked but I've had a major problem as well.
When I unplug power cables to CD/DVD drives and reboot, my machine will not read my hard drives either. The worse thing is that to get my HD's back online I've had to mess around in the bios and I've had to do something different (change a different bios setting) each time it's happened. The last time, just a few minutes ago I had to change my HD boot up sequence and tell it to boot up my slave drive first and master drive second.
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the drivers that Starforce 3 uses but it has got me absolutely *&^%
Anyway I wanted to know if anyone else has had any problems like this or anything weird happening since installing DV4?
Also why do some games tell me that the CD key is incorrect code for the game disc when I know dam well it's the right code I've always used?
