hey!
I have the original Sims 2 german on 4 cd's. I made a DVD Backup with the help of this post
http://fileforums.com/showpost.php?p...1&postcount=63 . But when I try to run the game an error pops-up [IMG]
[/IMG] . There stands "d/dvd emulationsoftware was found, deactivate cd/dvd emulationsodtware and restart the game".
Between:
- I've already overwrite the *01.tmp with the 2kb one
- I am using The Sims 2 v1.0 [MULTI] No-DVD/Fixed EXE
- and the DVD is named "Sims2_1" (without the ")
... I just followed the guidance from Ewoud who created the guild for making a CD to DVD backup!
I hope someone can tell me reason what I've done wrong and help me out!
