How long have you been buying software dude, I remember when I could buy it for £1.99 - £5.99 way back for commodore 64's and Spectrum 48k's.

Then the dual tape recorder systems came out, and it was easy for people to hire games out and copy them from tape to tape at high speed.

So prices went to £2.99 - £7.99 and over the years with the introduction of the Atari ST and Amiga, the prices continued to increase as more and more people started to buy from the street pirates (local markets etc).

So how wrong are they? They should keep it at a low price? Make no profits at all, also you forget, way back publishers like codemasters was just the brothers who founded it, unlike today where its a huge workforce.

Who pays the wages?

And again as ive said before in a different thread, it doesnt matter if a game is £35 or £5, people are greedy a-holes and will steal it even if it was a £1 for it. That is the truth, people are thiefs and they can never own up to it.

Yet they would never ever allow anyone to steal from them, quite a contradiction right there huh.
