well, i did the task as maxtor described it - only with a small difference, so i am gonna repeat what i've done:

- installed & patched DoW, installed WA
- renamed "Disk1Check.EXE" to "Disk1Check OLD.EXE" (this only works if installation is completely finished! ye have to wait till it tried to start once, but better don't insert the original CD, just let it tell ye "no disc inserted" or whatever, coz this will speed up the whole process, if ye dont have to start the game. i have recieved the message "WA is corrupt. - when having rebooted, right-clicked DAEMON --> Emulation --> All options OFF
- right-clicked DAEMON --> Virtual CD/DVD-ROM --> Device 0: [X:] No Media --> Mount image ; then i chose the WH40KWA-MINI.BWT to be mounted
--> started the game with the W40kWA.exe (NOT with WinterAssault.exe!)

well, then my graphics setup had to be configured and i entered the game.
there was no problem.

So all u whi don get this to work read it carefully and do exactly this and it works !!!!! i all so get it work as an mod but campains did not work . but this way all works 100% thx man good job dudes.
