sharkfin is on a distinguished road
I'm having the same problem. Here's what I got

XBOX 1.6
Bios: EvoX M8 v16 67
Slayer's EvoX 2.6
Xecuter 2.6CE

I pretty much use the same backup method and previously have been successful with the majority of the games. Original XBOX game into XBOX DVD-Rom and using EvoX dash to FTP to my computer via FlashFXP. I usually use Craxtion, but I've recently found Qwix, to make an ISO. It's patched automatically if needed. Then final step is using Alcohol to burn the ISO to a Memorex DVD (DVD-R/W is a Pioneer DVR-105). The problem is not with the media because it's running from my Seagate 200GB hard drive on my XBOX. Problem says "Disc is damaged or dirty". The process I go to get the files to my XBOX from computer is either I FTP it back from my computer to my XBOX hard drive. I've also tried using dvd2xbox to backup the game and then FTP the files into my computer to burn a backup. Another game I recently encountered a problem with is Darkwatch and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I cant remember what did what, but one just went straight back to dashboard from a black screen and the other had that error saying "Cant read disc. Disc maybe damaged or dirty". I've turned off the TSR/IGR settings and still no luck. Any suggestions?
