glenbo is on a distinguished road
no i had to re-flash my dvd r/w,after i used it,as it kept spitting out bad burns (lost a 2 whole packs of dvd's that worked fine before).
that worked..but i thought i would reformat any way..and the first thing i installed was this game(yes i own it,before anybody asks,it cost me £19.99 from game station),and the starf*ck software as i suspected it was the problem.
and low and behold, same thing happend again.
but this time i had to reflash 1 and chuck the other in the bin,as it refused to re-flash.(not hacked firmware..it was legit)
so i gave up with it until a good crack came out.
and now i am dubious of any of these little programs like anti-blaxx,any starforce proggys,tetris..im worried i might lose another drive over it.

just something to think by before using it lol!

also, unless you were wandering i did not have a boot sector virus or any other nasty's i check reguarly.
and yes i did have the correct aspi drivers etc.

ps:the game did work lol,but its not worth the damages imo.
this might be just my drives, who knows? i have read elsewhere that star force can do this to your drives, but i think its ppl just hiding the fact that they have attempted to crack the game(on forums were they do not discuss backups),as i have a couple of sf games and have no problems now.
and as it was the only thing in my pc,that my motherboard drivers and my ati drivers,it could only be that imo.
