Zerg,
I did try running it in safe mode but it still failed.
I managed to install it, though. For anyone that has the same problem or if a member of the Tetris team is reading this, this is what i did:
I deleted these registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Cl ass\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\LowerFilters
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Cl ass\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\UpperFilters
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Cl ass\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\LowerFilters
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Cl ass\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\UpperFilters
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\LowerFilters
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\UpperFilters
I rebooted and the tetris driver installed.
The previous values of the keys were:
LowerFilters - "Cdr4_2K"
UpperFilters - "Cdralw2k"
Congratulations to the Tetris team, by the way!
