World of Warcraft Expansion to Debut at BlizzCon

September 7, 2005 - In an official post up on the
World of Warcraft discussion boards, Blizzard has slipped in the little tidbit that the expansion to World of Warcraft (as of yet unannounced) will be shown at the first BlizzCon down in Anaheim California.
While there's pretty much no info on the actual game available right now, Blizzard will be doling out the info at BlizzCon to all attendees interested by way of showing the work that's been done so far and talking about details. If nothing else, it will definitely be interesting to see the direction that Blizzard has decided to take their MMO juggernaut.
This Battle Plan message also includes info on what will be coming into the game in the bit before BlizzCon. Subjects like raid content, world events, PvP, and character transfers are all covered.
