Answer

I originally had the same problem.

You MUST have the MP3 encoded at 128kbps, as this was the original bitrate for MP3. Obviously most MP3 players can play VBR, and you wanted to play those.

DivX video use 128kbps in their standard audio stream....

I want an OGG Vorbis player that can play VBR as low as 45kbps.

Anyone know of any such.....
Otherwise, I'll have to research and make one....
