There is a few threads showing you how to make a mini-image or a full image.
To make a working backup, you will need a decent writer and burn at slow speeds.
I would suggest for Securom7, a program called Blindwrite
It can make an image with a good topography of your disc (i.e. keeping protection on disc) but you burn back at slow speeds.
