I'd try Warcraft 3 (I hate RTS games, too but just to mention that there are some of them
), Call of duty, Medal of Honor : Allied Assault, Age of Mythology...
What about FIFA 2003 or PES4? Should run with 1.4Ghz, sure it WILL be ugly but it depends on the fun you have with the game not on the graphics
