NOT THAT I EVER HEARD OF. BUT WHEN YOU DO THE SLIDE CARD YOU DON'T HAVE TO OPEN UP YOUR PS2. SO MAYBE YOU MIGHT WANT TO GO WITH THAT. PLUS YOU DON'T BREAK THE SEAL. SO IF ANYTHING HAPPENS YOUR STILL UNDER WARRANTY
