ok this is my first time here but i read thru this thread trying to figure out my problem.
i have solved it. i found out that if u install the game from the dvd then try and crack it it wont work.
this is wut i did to fix it.
copy dvd onto the hard drive. (example D:\GTA SA\)
install from drive to location u like
rename gta sa.exe to gta sa.exebak(so u dont lose original)
extract cracked gta sa.exe into installed folder
and there u go. worked for me.
