I can play the files with Nero show time or Windows media player after they are finalized but editing or even backing the disc's up onto a harddrive is a different story. I leave for Disneyworld tommorow and I will have a few home video clips I'll want to backup to my laptop while down there so I can reuse my mini DVD-RW disc's over and over. As I said before simply copying from the disc and pasting the finalized files to the harddrive does not work, I get drive not ready when trying to open the file when its placed on my harddrive.
