Sorry to spoil everyone's fun, but ive found out that images other than the ones done by Alcohol do not work with Carbon crack, or not at all for that matter. My friend made backups of his .MDF's using Nero and ended up with the Nero images (.NRG). Then he burned them onto CD's and gave them to me to take a look at. First I tried to make it work without mounting images, by simply using the cd's by followed the usual - Carbon patch, restarts and SFnightmare. It didn't work, so then i made images using Nero from those cd's, mounted them and went through the procedure again. Still no luck...
. any comments?
