I'll have to find out--took it for granted that everything would work fine as usual, and stored them in the attic right after backing up.
Just out of curiosity (more likely ignorance
), how would using the original discs prove if a chip is outdated? Original games, IMHO, wouldn't need the chip to load, anyway.

I could hit myself in the head, right now--should have thought of it. Anyways, could you recommend any reliable sites that sell HDD's
if that's not against messageboard rules? Heard of a lot of people getting ripped off during online purchases.
