digital data you can copy and copy and copy and copy...... (when you have an good burner)
the only thing which could make trouble on copying is to make an direct Copy, especially on ide burners. try to make before an image (whith discjuggler) to HD, so that you became an good datastream to your burner. better is you put the "original" in you burner to read it out to HD, after that you put an blanc disc in this and burned the image back!!
also look if your "original" has scratches.
