I have installed quite a few of these chips now and haven't had any problems. They are quite simple to install and easy to operate. The main feature that I like is the fact that you boot the xbox with the chip enabled by pressing the power button and boot the xbox with the chip disabled by pressing the eject button as opposed to other cheap mods that require you to hold the power button down for a couple of seconds to get the chip going. The duo x2 way allows for the installation of a reset switch in your controller (again, quite simple to do - check xbox-scene.com) so you don't have to get off the couch when you want to change the game your playing off your hdd. Quite appealing for couch potatoes like myself
