You mean the 5028 X2 BIOS? If so, I've been running it on my 1.6 since the day it came out and I like it. Faster and more stable ftp transfers are the biggest plus. And it solved one very strange problem that seemed to be plaguing only my Xbox. It would not cold boot. No matter what I did, it would load to the Microsoft logo and then hang. Hit the eject button and it would finish booting. Very wierd. You can configure a lot of the bling bling options (my description) by changing an ini file that the BIOS looks for when it loads.

That muppet adapter looks a little fishy to me. How does it make contact? It looks like a pinheader on a small PCB with a couple extra contacts. Plus they say it is compatible with all versions of Xbox's but it looks as if it has to pass through the LPC. I have yet to see a version 1.0 that didn't have the LPC contacts soldered in. I would never mess with a no solder adapter anyway as easy as it is to solder a modchip in to an xbox.
