By sueing kids they achieve exaclty what they want as sueing someone who is making money on selling music is not that interesting and does not affect the common people

The RIAA & MPAA are both legal entities and are allowed to do these things by law (DMCA/FECA)... and if they continue sueing people, in the end it will make people more aware that they should not "upload/share" files and for better p2p networks to be developed, with better privacy protection (ip forgery/hiding)

The bad thing is that their tactics are now "copied" by other countries (UK, SE, DE, NL) now, making their action even more "legit". So it would be good if the RIAA/MPAA are stopped somehow, but that would mean cancelation of the DMCA/EUCD and this will never happen which the current governments...

The US is more and more becoming a Big Brother society where everybody is being monitored and sued when they find someting on you!
