Well no offence Jay but have you even read everything else i've put??
In principal i agree with you. I don't copy games. However my grevances regarding this matter just differ to yours.
I'm not going to support a developer by buying their games if they suck. Nor am i going to pay to try a game out (by renting).
On the other side of the coin i'm not going to bother pirating them either if they suck.
I'm simply saying that if games had to be vetted for quality and quantity before they were sold game standards would be higher and more people would be willing to fork money out for them.
As for mod chip sales, i'm well aware that its just as easy to get hold of them as it always has been. Doesn't change the fact that because sony won a case against a supplier, they'd win a case against any other supplier they sued, whether its official law or not....It might as well be genuine law.
