Rip off some unnecessary files, like intro movies, cutscene movies, musics, speech, whatever. If the game doesn't work without those files, replace them with empty files: files of zero length or a file of the same type (AVI/BIK/MP3/WAV/whatever) consisting of only one empty frame. You should test your results on a rewritable CD/DVD...
