To say you have all this information, you aren't at all well informed...
Swapping discs is absolutely junk - and it doesn't work with all games. Therefore, really you need to chip the console. You may think you're saving money, but in the end, after you've bought discs and lids and god knows what else, you've spent the equivalent of a no swap mod chip.
Even if you did go for the swap method, all games won't boot, and it'll really start to p*ss you off once the novelty has gone so it costs you again. Best thing to do is to simply get a modchip installed right from the start...
