So you would have to physically mod it?
If I was to guess the UMD's are just mini DVD's similar to ones you buy from Walmart except with a casing around it to help prevent copying.
It would be great if you could slide the mini DVD's you buy into one of these cases and then use it in the PSP's.
All the UMD's are are mini DVDs in a casing.
