Def jam Fight for NY backup issues

When trying to backup Def Jam Fight for NY, the game backs up fine, but the audio is out of sync with the video. I have read other forums and there was tutorial to rip the ISO image, open it up with ISObuster, then use a prog called CDVDGEN to do something else. All in all it is a very difficult process and I have not gotten it to work. Does anybody on here know of a simpler method? Apparantly this is what happens with some games that burn really close to the edge (like Mercanaries, SW Battlefront, etc.) Any suggestions for Def Ham Fight for NY. Originally I ripped with DVD Decrypter, and burned with it at 1x, using Ridata G05.
