It could've been expected that the application, that you're trying to use - in vain -, installs mss32.dll, along with itself... So, first, you might want to complain at the company that created that application about their stupidity.
"mss" is the abbreviation of "Miles Sound System", a generalized sound API that has been created back in the DOS days. You can read more about it and download related stuff at
