Sorry, I'll be brief this time.
I remember reading a post here a while ago saying that using a lens cleaner on a really dirty lens will cause the dust to be swept under the lens, causing worse damage.
I've never cleaned the lens in the 2 years I bought it; would the same problem (dust swept under lens) occur if I used the cleaner now?
FYI: I do wipe the surface around the PS2 before play, and cover it with a towel afterwards. There
IS dust on the vents, though it should be relatively clean inside...but just in case...
Is it okay, or are there any ways around it?
