Actually, I've read that you may be able to re-build the game discs in a different way so they work with the new (post-10/2000) DC units.
The new units won't work with the audio track at the beginning of the disc. Now people have discovered that instead of AUDIO/DATA type discs, using "DATA/DATA" game discs works. I haven't tried this because I don't have a newer DC (mine is June 2000), however what was suggested was to use CDMAGE or ISOBUSTER to dump the image to your hard drive. Then use mkisofs with no offset (-C 0,0) to create an ISO file, then use the newest version of BIN2BOOT to create a bootable disc.
Once again, I've not tried this and can't say for certain that it will work. Try it at your own risk.
