Hey goke,
All you need to do is use the handbrake before turns. For a right turn, press the handbrake lightly, turn left (yeah, left!) a bit, release the handbrake and turn right. This will give you _lots_ of drift points if you do it right. Also, you might wanna try zigzagging through straights _or_ pick up as much speed as possible and shoot into corners with (relatively) high speeds as higher speed also results in higher drift points. It _does_ seem to be complicated for the first try, but once you get it, it's pretty easy...
