####t up your dreamcast with no cd in it. That will take you to a screen with 4 options (Play, File, Music, Settings). Pick file, then you see which VMUs are connected, pick the one you want. Then you should see a list of all the files on that VMU, pick the file you want to delete, then pick delete.

Hope that's what you meant.
