Help Required
Hello
i am having major probs with my pc..
i'm not a total newbie but have not had a pc for a while
basically my rom is knackered
just days ago i was making back ups of DVD & CD no probs...using nero & alcohol 120%
now my rom wont speak to me
it will read cds ok but that is it
it wont burn cd's or read dvd's or burn dvd's
when burning a cd it will get to about 30% and then error
i have tried everything i can,,updating firmware/driver uninstalling etc to no avail
my os is xp
the rom is a philips pbdv824dp
please help...
