Sorry but you seem to contradict yourself!?
In your second post you say "why don't either of my roms recognize the original cd 1"???
But in your first post you also say "using alcohol 1.9.2. trying to make a backup of my original #1 disk. the game will single play from the alcohol image......"
So obviously at some point your Roms did read the original CD as you made an image of it!!?
