Since it's been awhile since the last post, has anyone found a way to move the music to the HDD for use within the game? I play without the disc whenever I run the game, but would like to have the music playing as well. Anyway, I already ripped the music into WAV and MP3, I just need to find a way for the game to run it. I am assuming HL:S has the music included, what about the Steam download of Half-Life?
BTW, is this an issue with the CD versions of Blue Shift and Opposing Force? I just ordered those and would love to rip them if there's additional HL music included, but would like to hear it within the game if at all possible. Guess, I'll use a No/CD patch for those as well in any case! Crossing fingers!
