Got this type in my Playstation

So i will check now what is a multimeter? How can I get out if the flow is right?
SO could it be that the reset/eject buttons aren´t working because the wire @ the chip?

EDIT: So checked what a Multimeter is and Hell Yeah, i´ve got a Multimeter! I use this to adjust the laser! ... So , and how can I check now if the flow is right? I mean this Multimeter will show it in Ohm´s or? How many Ohm´s must it have? And where should I put the + side and the - side???
