Indeed you must save these 2 keys in a .reg file, with Regedit, before to delete them.
You can do all that automatically with a batch file that deletes the keys, launch the game, and restore the keys when you quit the game.
This protection is very current these days : I have now such a batch file for 4 games on my HD !
