Yes, but in this way you consider by default that everybody has a mod installed in his PS2. But this is not the case for many ppl. They buy an ORIGINAL HDL or HDA, so as it can be booted without modchip.
And yes, I believe that is very lame to still other ppl's work and take credit for it.
@TylerDurder: OK, i believe you (i don't have a reason not to, anyway), but i want to clarify here that i made my comment, because i believe that it is better to be objective and let the ppl make their choices after they know the facts. By the way, can you tell me of a game that works on HDL and not on HDA? I'm just curious...
