you need:
1x spectra (or warthog, but can only hold 1 person)
1x banshee
- Sit in the passangers seat of the spectra with the sword.
- Have someone in a banshee fly close enough so that you can target with the sword
- after you can target, swing the sword and hold the R button
- Look up, still holding R
- Have the banshee fly as far away as possible, and tell you "when"
- After you are told "when", let go of R (still looking up) and press X to exit the passenger seat.
You will fly like a mofo. This trick is used to get ontop of the cranes on Headlong.
