As for my earlier problems:
I was reading newzbin forum when I bumped into this. This is the most redicoulus "bugfix" I ever saw, but the most funny part is: IT WORKS!!!!!
Here it goes:

Go to your GAMEDIRECTORY/hl2/maps/graphs folder and locate all those .ain files
Now adjust the date on your pc to like the year 2010
Opent the .ain files with notepad and save them so they all have the year 2010 on them.
Change your pc date back to its real time.
Be sure to remove any ai_disable 0 or
ai_norebuildgraph 1
Files you have in any of your .cfg files
(i just moved my autoexec.cfg while tested, then deleted it when i was sure this works)
start the game, walla, no errors

I cut the part what the poster was saying about the Emporio release and Steam's "reputation". Forum rules or what...
. (I was banned 2 times for posting things like...um...what I cut out
)
Anyway, if somebody had the same symptoms as above, this should fix it.
