I had the same issue of applying this no-cd and it still asking me for the cd. But what you have to do is not only shutdown steam, but restart your pc and DON'T start up the normal steam...(disable "startup steam when windows starts up" before your restart) Then, run hijack_hl2.exe and it
should work. It did for me. Thanks hijack.
