A link to the European version of the RCT3 Update 1 was posted on the Atari UK site recently and unfortunately, this link was released prematurely.
We apologize to those players of the European version of RCT3 who may have installed an update dated 17 Nov, 2004, that was not intended for public use. If you are among those who‘ve updated your game with this file, you will most likely experience problems that will prevent you from making meaningful progress in the game. To correct this problem, uninstall the game and reinstall it. Your saved-games and other saved files will be preserved and you can resume gameplay without interruption.
Please be advised that official updates for RollerCoaster Tycoon® 3 are delivered two ways: click the UPDATES button found on the game's autorun screen (which is displayed when you insert the game-disc into your CD-ROM drive); or when you click the Check For Updates shortcut found in the Windows START menu under START > Programs > Atari > RollerCoaster Tycoon® 3.
The official update will be available via this route soon, and a download version made available for those who play games on a PC that is not connected to the internet.
