I believe you are wrong. They do sell HDA still, although HDL is hard to find. Foundmy.com has HDL. HDA is still being sold at the moment.
You still need HDA (bleh) or HDL to run the games off your HDD. The other PC programs are to transfer games to your HDD from your PC. Check the Ultimate Sticky for more info. (Should be under HDLoader Review)
